San Diego’s Destination for Art Pottery and Tile
Marston House Museum Shop
May/June 2023

If you're a fan of early to mid-20th century style art tile and pottery, the Marston House Museum Shop should be at the top of your shopping list.

We invite you to step inside the original 1905 Hebbard and Gill-designed carriage house, adaptively reused as our museum gift shop, where you’ll encounter a bonanza of beautifully crafted pieces of exquisite aesthetics and craftsmanship.

You can discover a stunning collection of designs from renowned historic companies, including Pewabic and Teco, as well as contemporary classics from Door and Motawi. We're excited to be the first in our region to introduce the works of talented artists such as Jonathan White of Odd Inq and Sarah and Thomas Gelsanliter of One Acre Ceramics. Since our shop’s inception, we have also been a reliable source for the creations of San Diego's own Deirdre Lee of Urban Jungle Art & Design.

The Marston shop boasts the largest selection of architectural design-based ceramic arts in the city! From bold geometrics to intricate floral and leaf designs in a range of colors, each handcrafted piece tells a story and adds character and beauty to any space. Our collection of art tile and pottery is carefully curated, and we take pride in offering a wide range to suit any taste and budget.

Our knowledgeable, friendly staff is always happy to answer questions and help guide you to the perfect piece. Whether you're a seasoned collector or just starting out, we're here to help you discover the history, beauty, and value of art tile and pottery.

We’re open Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 4pm, year round; and remember: SOHO members receive a 15% discount. All purchases benefit SOHO’s educational programs and the Marston House.

We look forward to sharing our passion for these captivating and timeless pieces with you!
