Do you want to learn more about the amazing work that Save Our Heritage Organisation has done to preserve historic sites in San Diego? Then log in each day in May 2023 to SOHO’s Facebook page for a special event!
May is National Preservation Month, and to celebrate we're showcasing 31 historic sites that would not still exist without the efforts and commitment of SOHO’s members and leaders. Allen Hazard, our volunteer contributor and a SOHO board member, spent hours researching the SOHO archives to bring you the most interesting and unusual stories about these amazing places.
Each day in May, we'll feature a different building or site on our Facebook page, complete with photos and in-depth information about its history and significance. You'll get an up-close look at the incredible work that SOHO has done, with you and fellow members, to preserve these sites, and you'll surely gain a greater appreciation for the rich history of our city and county.
