Correction

The article on the City of Encinitas landmarking of the Berhalter House contained one error that requires correction. The name "Irene McFarland" should have read "Irene McIntosh." Encinitas researchers should know it was Irene McIntosh who pioneered the Seaside Estates subdivision in the early 20th century. We apologize for the error.
