Help Furnish the Whaley House

SOHO is in the process of establishing a permanent collection for the Whaley House. Stewardship of collections entails the highest public trust and carries with it the presumption of rightful ownership, permanence, care, documentation and accessibility. Professional standards and practices inform and guide museum operations. SOHO has the utmost respect for these guidelines, and with that in mind, we ask you to entrust us with your donation of any of the following much needed American Victorian items, circa 1850's-1880's. If you are not sure the item you have fits our criteria we will be happy to assess it for you.
