Bobbie Bagel - Marston House Museum Site Coordinator
Coordinates staff, volunteers, and programs at the Marston House; she is part of the managing and buying team for its museum shop, and SOHO's assistant events coordinator.
Bobbie began volunteering at the Marston House in 2003, and joined the SOHO staff in 2013.
A graduate of UC Berkeley, she worked in the publishing industry in New York and San Francisco. After moving to San Diego, Bobbie was the buyer and general manager of Upstart Crow Bookstore for 25 years.
Bobbie's love of architecture history and the Arts and Crafts style stems from growing up in Chicago, surrounded by magnificent buildings designed by Louis Sullivan, H. H. Richardson, and Frank Lloyd Wright. She lives in a landmark 1899 home in San Diego's Sherman Heights Historic District, and is grateful to George Marston and his architect Irving Gill each day she works at the beautiful Marston House on the architecturally rich Seventh Avenue.
