 Enjoy a fun evening of good food, live entertainment and a silent auction at a special outdoor screening of If You Could Only Cook starring Leo Carrillo, at the city's annual Dinner and a Movie fundraiser to support Leo Carrillo Ranch Historic Park educational programming.
The event takes place Friday, Aug. 14, with dinner served at 6:30 p.m. The movie starts promptly at sunset following an episode of The Cisco Kid. Be sure to bring your low back chair, warm clothes, a flashlight and a blanket. Dining tickets, which must be purchased by Aug. 8, start at $40 with additional exclusive dining options available. Only 150 tickets are available for this popular annual event, and there will be no ticket sales at the door.
Proceeds from the event support the Carrillo Ranch Trust Fund, which was established by the City of Carlsbad to enable the public to contribute to the continued restoration and enhancement of this historic site. Donations to the trust fund are only used for the development, operation and maintenance of Leo Carrillo Ranch.
