Nancy Moors

A native San Diegan, Nancy has been an Uptown activist for many years. A several decades long career in newspapers included work at the San Diego U-T, Gannett, and as a Corporate Sales Director and General Manager of a daily newspaper for News Media Corporation, a nationwide newspaper company. In 2002 Nancy returned to San Diego to join forces with her now wife, Ann Garwood, to partner in Ann's successful Ad Ink Advertising Agency and together create a successful publication and community website, HillQuest.

Nancy's community activism includes service as past board member and President of the Hillcrest Business Association, Vice Chair of the Pajaro Valley Chamber of Commerce, co-founder of the Hillcrest History Guild, founding member of the Hillcrest Town Council and the Bankers Hill Community Group, board member of many organizations including The Committee of One Hundred and the former Uptown Community Parking District Board where she served as Council President Todd Gloria's appointee. Nancy and Ann have been recipients of many community awards for their volunteer and business efforts.
