Hotel San Diego (1910)

This landmark finds itself in the middle of a huge multi-jurisdictional "governmental core" that is being planned for the City, County and Federal Governments. The first renderings of the site, which covers several downtown blocks on both sides of Broadway, addressed the area as having no encumbrances. This National Register eligible building is essentially in the way and the Feds want to turn it into rubble.
